Global Engagement

“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." ― Mark Twain

I've lived, worked, or studied in the countries of France, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Botswana, South Africa, the USA, Australia, Switzerland, and Germany -- and I've visited many more for both business and tourism. Particularly impactful was the "Promoting East / West Dialogue and Peacebuilding: A Study Seminar and Encounter for Young Adults" workshop of August, 2009 in Amman, Jordan. These experiences continue to inform and inspire my life and worldview as I collaborate with people of various backgrounds, languages, and cultures.
